When should I use Flux Dev vs Flux 1.1 Pro?+
Use Flux Dev for everything that doesn't need flagship quality — exploration, drafts, high-volume work. Switch to Flux 1.1 Pro for the final hero shot, ad creative, or client-facing deliverables.
When should I use Flux Dev vs Flux Schnell?+
Schnell is fastest and cheapest but slightly less detailed. If you're iterating dozens of times per minute, use Schnell. If you want to see a 'real' result each generation, use Dev.
