Why is Schnell so much cheaper than other models?+
Schnell uses a distilled 4-step schedule instead of the standard 25+ steps. Same model weights family, much less compute per image. We pass the cost saving through.
Will Schnell quality be enough for my use case?+
For social, blog headers, moodboards, prototyping, and concept work — almost always. For polished hero shots and editorial work, use Flux Dev or 1.1 Pro instead.
Can I switch from Schnell to Pro mid-session?+
